Devon Vipond is a globally-experienced consumer insights-driven researcher and writer.
Devon knows communications data. Using quantitative and qualitative research methods, she helps brands understand what motivates people so they can create and optimize content. She does this through social listening, audience analysis and segmentation, search engine optimization (SEO) keyword analysis, content analysis and report writing.
Armed with a Bachelors of Journalism and Psychology from Carleton University, Canada’s top media training ground, Devon brings cultural insight and strong writing together. Her strong SEO background means she weaves content discoverability best practices into key message development and brand positioning.
Devon is currently a North American lead for We Are Social’s Research & Insight team, part of a global, socially driven creative agency network. Based in the Bay Area, she uncovers insights that drive creative, channel and brand strategy. As part of her remit supporting effectiveness, she also creates clear, intuitive measurement approaches for both established and emerging brands.
Devon also develops and socializes thought leadership as part of her role. You’ll find her forecasting upcoming social trends in podcasts, sharing implications of the current cost of living crisis in webinars, writing about the future of influence or commenting on We Are Social’s latest research with the media.
A true digital native, Devon loves sharing what she knows.
